High-Level EU Delegation to North America Recognises Importance of International Collaboration in Research Infrastructures

Dany Vandromme and Jan Gruntorad, respectively Chairman and member of DANTE's Board of Directors, and Dai Davies, DANTE General Manager, were part of a high-level EU eInfrastructures delegation which visited North America on 20-26 June 2004. 

The visit emphasised the international dimension of research, providing a forum for leading experts and managers from science and research active in the area of advanced research networking and Grids from Europe and North America.  Among its objectives were the further development of a global perspective for eInfrastructure.
