GÉANT Testbed

Because of the growing number, and the complexity, of the services being made available to National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) on GÉANT, a multi-vendor Testbed has been deployed. This allows new services to be tested and validated before they are made available on the production network.

The GÉANT Testbed provides NRENs and DANTE with a facility to test new hardware, operating system upgrades, vendor inter-operability and other new features.
